She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elbert Kornegay and Luna Victoria Kornegay; her husband Joseph Roy Creech; her son Joseph Roy Creech Jr.; and her sister Nancy Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Creech (Miriam) of Zebulon, Lee Creech (Belinda) of Smithfield, Mike Creech (Vickie) of Smithfield and Kathy Hostettler (Dyke) of Zebulon. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
