He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Johnson DeBats; his children, Alvin John DeBats, III (Tricia), Hubbard Chapman (Melissa), Danny DeBats (Star), Kevin Ellis (Samantha) and Lori Bradley; his grandchildren, Joshua, Johnathan, Logan, Alexys DeBats, Matthew, Andrew Chapman, Colby, Cash DeBats, Michael, Jaidyn, Graden and Murdoch; and his sister Joann Wiedyk.
