She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Whaley and Eliza Jane Whaley; her husband Kenneth Dixon; her children, Brenda, Ann Marie and Melvin; her granddaughter Felicia Dominguez; and her sons-in-law, Dee Lloyd Radford, Danny Baker and Jerry Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Jannie Radford of Wilson Mills, Kay Baker, Dorothy Baker of Four Oaks and Bobby Dixon; and her siblings, Patsy Whaley of Richland, Earl Whaley (Teresa) of Smithfield and Elmer Whaley (Kathy) of Durham. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home (208 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
