He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Edgar Williams, Sr. and Daphney Glover Williams; his brother Dolphus "Buddy" Williams; and his niece Tracy Thompson. He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda W. Hawley (Ricky) and Michele Williams; his granddaughters, Taylor Hawley and Caroline Hawley; his siblings, Libby Thompson, Diane Gardner, Gail Moss, Joan Lucas (Jeff) and Roland Williams (Connie); and his close friend Lou Ferrell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
