She was predeceased by: her husband James M. Winborne, Jr.; her former husband Merle Watson; her parents, Josh Thorne and Ella Thorne; her grandson James E. Bass; and her sisters, Esther T. Watson, Mavis T. Miller, Maia T. Eggert and Helen T. Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Quince M. Watson (Annette) of Lucama, James M. Winborne III (Jamie) of Sims, Jean Watson Bass of Sims and Donna Winborne of Wilson; and her grandchildren, Susan Watson Pittman, Matthew Watson, Rebecca Bass Hinshaw, Brian Bass and Ashley Winborne. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Flowers are welcome, as well as memorial donations made in Minnie's name to Spring Hill Presbyterian Church, 7335 Springfield School Road, Lucama, North Carolina, 27851.
