He was predeceased by: his father Willis MacArthur Worrells; and his stepfather Walter Pate. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Jones Pate of Mount Olive; his children, Jimmy Wayne Worrells, Jr. (Karen) of Texas, Cody Worrells, Taylor Worrells and Jarrett Worrells of Kinston; his grandchildren, Eli, Memphis and William Worrells; his sister Chris W. Earp (Chris) of Sims; his children, Harley, Raven, Rilley and Slade Powell; and his nephews, Chad and Luke Earp.
