He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Ann Kent Coleman; his children, JoAnn Wood (Ray) of Sims, Teresa Joyner (Herman) of Wilson, Ricky Coleman (Biona) of Sims, Frederick Coleman (Crystal) of Wilson, Derrick Coleman (Sheila) and Joe Coleman (Tammy) of Kenly; and his siblings, Mattie Mae Coleman of Wilson and Jesse Coleman of Wilson. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
