It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Sidney Fulghum (Sims, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Fulghum and Elizabeth Boykin Fulghum; his wife Peggy Nora Winstead Fulghum; his children, Angie Ginn and Randy Fulghum; his grandson Randall Fulghum; and his siblings, W. H. Fulghum and June Faye Fulghum.
He is survived by: his sons, Cale Fulghum (Joy) and Mike Fulghum; and his siblings, Marie Boykin, Ann Price, Jay Fulghum and Earl Fulghum. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six, great-grandchildren.
