With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Porter Garrett (Simpson, North Carolina), who passed away on April 6, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gentry Stancill Porter and Elsie Mae Mills Porter; and her husband Basil "Buck" Wilkerson Garrett, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Basil Todd Garrett (Susan) of Wilmington and James Reeves Garrett of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Elle Alexandra Garrett, Basil Wilkerson Garrett III and Johnathan Reeves Garrett (Morgan Smith); and her brother Ed Porter (Bonnie) of Greenville.
