It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Ruth Hamlin Whitaker of Siloam, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Hamlin and Linnie McMillian Hamlin; her husband Roger Whitaker; her siblings, Joyce Gammons and Johnny Hamlin; and her son-in-law Chris McKeaver.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam McKeaver and Janet (Steve Fulk); her grandchildren, Sydney, Carrie McKeaver and Andrew Fulk; her sisters, Bonnie (Roger Cook) and Judy (Mitchell Sprinkle); and her close friends, Scott, Chrissy and Dylan Arrington.
