He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Albert White, Etta White, Ralph McKeaver and Edith McKeaver; his aunt Ann White Greenwood; and his father-in-law Roger Whitaker.

He is survived by: his wife Pam Whitaker McKeaver; his daughters, Sydney Leigh McKeaver and Carrie Denise McKeaver; his parents, Steven Lee McKeaver of Dobson and Opalene White McKeaver of Dobson; his mother-in-law Peggy Whitaker of Siloam; his aunt Gary McKeaver; his siblings-in-law, Janet Fulk of Siloam and Steve Fulk of Siloam; his nephew Andrew Fulk; and also, Doris McKeaver of Waldorf, MD. and Danny Greenwood of Dobson.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at the State Employees' Credit Union for the Sydney and Carrie McKeaver College Fund.
