It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Allen Shirey of Siler City, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Woodrow Shirey and Wanda Jamerson Shirey; his wife Esther Wheeler Shirey; and his brothers, Earl Shirey and Mike Shirey.
He is survived by: his son Allen Shirey (Rachel); his stepdaughters, Amy Seils, Amanda MacDonald (Kenny) and Denise Shelton; his grandchildren, Amaryllis McCall, Orion Shirey, Magnolia Shirey, Brandi Cole, Nick Seils, Erika Seils, Carrie Shelton and Jessica Shelton; and his siblings, Richard Shirey (Jane), Jim Shirey (Becky) and Pat Shirey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
