She is survived by: her children, Vivian Black of Greensboro, Gail Hickman (Bryan Case) of Kinston and Rudy Thomas of Sanford; and her granddaughters, Jennifer Brower, Jessica Thomas and Natalie Black. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
