We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2019, at the age of 78, Ronald Elwood Boone (Siler City, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lois Boone Chandler and Gene Boone. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Boone (Walker); his children, Ronda Boone Peterson of Cary, Dana Boone Smith (Phillip) of Greensboro and Bryan E. Boone (Elizabeth) of Sanford; his siblings, Phyllis Boone DeRita of Burlington and Thurman "Pop" Boone (Janie) of Burlington; and his grandchildren, Bennett, Lacey Peterson, Sarah, Anna Boone, Owen and Grant Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P O Box 212, Siler City, NC 27344 or Habitat for Humanity.
