We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024, at the age of 94, Richard Carl Brooks in Siler City, North Carolina, born in Willoughby, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Carl Brooks to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Brooks and Thurza Belle Brooks; and his siblings, Carl, Mary, Claude, Ronnie and Janet.
He is survived by: his brother Donald Brooks (Jeanne) of Vancouver, WA; his children, Linda Dolovacky (George) of Eastlake, OH, Daniel Brooks (Cyndi) of Willoughby, OH and Brandon Brooks (Jackie) of Mebane, NC; and his grandchildren, Crystal Dolovacky, April Jennings (Justin), Justin Brooks and Taylor Brooks.
One of Richard's passions was creating wildlife art; therefor in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in his memory to any local or national wildlife charity. Alternatively, Brandon and Jackie would like to show appreciation to the wonderful and caring staff of Siler City Center (900 W Dolphin St, Siler City, NC 27344) and will be collecting and sending a donation to the team that provided care and compassion to him in his final months.
