He is survived by: his children, Carrie Vandyke Lonski (Chris) of Siler City, NC, Joe Louis Vandyke (Deborah Wisniewski) of Honaker, VA and Christopher Vandyke (Melissa Kay) of Grand Prairie, TX; his siblings, Evelyn Ward of Pilgrims Knob, VA, Virgie Keen of Oakwood, VA, Jean Leonard of Oakwood, VA, Ida Childress of Oakwood, VA, Trula Bell Ball of Deerborn, MI, Dennis Vandyke of Oakwood, VA and C. B. Vandyke of Pilgrims Knob, VA.; his niece Teresa Griffey (Donald); and his pet George. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
