He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Almond and Margaret Shipes Almond; his daughter Kathy Almond Hall; and his siblings, Betty Smallwood, Michael "Butch" Almond and Donnie Almond.
He is survived by: his wife Madelyn Warner Almond; and his children, Kenneth Mack Almond, Kevin Lee Almond and Karen Almond Brooks (Scott). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
