She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse L. Harris and Ida Hilliard Harris; her husband Archie M. Ellis; and her siblings, Charles L Harris, Wallace M Harris, Curtis Harris, Glenna H Bradford, Mary H. Greenhut and Bethal H. Daurity.
She is survived by: her daughter Marion Ellis of Weaverville, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
