He was predeceased by: his parents, Broddie E. Bass and Harriett Edwards Bass; his wife Emma H. Bass; his stepsons, Denny and David Perry; and his siblings, Charlie Bass, Patsy Sikes, Betty Tedder and Carolyn Bass.
He is survived by: his children, Diane King of Randleman, Henry B. Bass, Jr. (Beth) of Siler City and Patrick K. Bass (Manda) of Siler City; his grandchildren, Maddox Bass, Michelle Stanback (Noxfer), Travis Turner and Callie Brauer (James Dragon); and his great grandchildren, Lilly Stanback, Terrill Holt and A. J. Dragon.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
