He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Martin Maness; his daughter Pamela Maness Kemp of High Point; and his brothers, Tom Maness of Snow Camp, Junior Maness of Siler City and Charlie Maness of Snow Camp. He is also survived by cat "Sam," and several nieces and nephews.
