He is survived by: his wife Daisy Geraldine Poindexter; his children, Donna Crocket (Denny) of Woodlawn, VA, Doug Poindexter (Cindy) of Siler City, Glen Poindexter (Debbie) of Siler City and Cheryl Watson (Kermit) of Grifton, NC; his sister Betty Duggins of Asheboro; his granddaughter Danielle Smith of Lexington; and his great grandchild Taylor Smith of Cocoa, FL.
