She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jesse Clark Allred, George Allred (Marie), Annie Rue, Harold Hearthy (Rachel) and Robert Hershall "Bobby" (Carol).

She is survived by: her parent Jesse Booker Allred (Eva Clark Allred); her daughter Dianne Allred (Thomas Allred) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Candace (Pete Wehr) of Wilmington and Jon Allred (Sarah) of Asheville; her great grandchildren, Lee Wehr, Bennett Wehr, Issac, Nate and Elizabeth Ann Allred; and her brother Jack Allred (JoAnn) of Siler City.

In 2010, Frances was diagnosed with Alzheimers and, as her health began to decline, the family hired a wonderful, live-in caregiver, Genie Cross of Ramseur.
