She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Willett and Rosa Willett; and her siblings, Allene Willett Perkins, Estelle Willett Swaim, Thomas Howard Willett and Coy Willett.
She is survived by: her husband Howard T. Brooks of Siler City, NC; her son Ronald Brooks (Cynthia) of Greensboro, NC; her grandchildren, Amanda Brooks, Christena Brooks and Trevor Brooks; and her sister Maye Willett Cheek (Charles) of Siler City, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the coronavirus, a graveside service with immediate family will be held at Sandy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
