She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Alston and Fannie Jue Milliken Alston; and her siblings, Blondaire Cameron, Elaine Hollingsworth, Carolyn Chikobi, Lois Ella Alston, Autry Alston, Kenneth Alston, Thomas Alston, Jeffrey Alston and Byron Alston.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Alston of Durham, Andrea Alston of Raleigh, Tametha "Tammy" Alston, Fannie Haith of Burlington, Larine Stokes (Dwayne) of Dallas, TX, Dwight Haith and Montoya Haith; her sister Adelaide Alston of Chapel Hill; and her aunts, Hazel Atwater of Chapel Hill, Ruth Alston and Clara Alston. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
