She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Pike Senior and Elsie Smith Pike; her siblings, Kermit Pike Junior (Jean), Jerry Pike (Mary Lee), Marshall Pike, Juanita Redding (Fred) and Shirley Murray; and her brother-in-law Ray Stout (Harry Jefcoat).

She is survived by: her siblings, James (Carolyn), Nina Stout and Barbara Kivett (Kenny); and her brother-in-law Leachie Murray.

In place of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hickory Grove United Methodist Church 10068 Silk Hope Liberty Rd, Siler City, N.C. 27344, or Amedisys Hospice 2975 Crouse Lane, Burlington, N.C., 27215.
