It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Florence Joyce of Siler City, North Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Hattie Shaffer Joyce; her siblings, Ruby Holden Joyce, Marshall Glenn Joyce, Joseph Alfred Joyce and George Millard Joyce; and her niece Amy Ore.

She is survived by: her daughter Jemma Joyce Johnson; her grandson Clay Neal Johnson; her niece Terry Gore; and her great-nephews, Traves Gore and Garrett Gunter.
