She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Bray; her daughter-in-law Donna Kivett; her grandchildren, Justin Bray (Emily) and Dana Cain (Wes); her siblings, Nellie Cockman, Herman Gordon (Judy) and Frank Gordon; her great grandchildren, Emma Grace, Grant, Lilah, Charley Bray, Brendan and Carolina Cain; her nephew Wayne; and her niece Wanda Brady.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Joyce-Brady Chapel (3833 Chatham St, Bennett, NC 27208). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brush Creek Baptist Church (5345 Airport Rd, Bear Creek, NC 27207).
