She was predeceased by: her father Johnson Mayhew. She is survived by: her husband Weddie Lewis Gabriel, Jr.; her children, Gregory Lewis Gabriel (Sheila), Raynard Gabriel (Marilyn), Marcus Gabriel, Roger Darrell Gabriel, Winalda Thomas (Charles), Marcella Deneen Gabriel and Sabrina Kilmer (Korey); and her siblings, Samuel McArthur Mayhew, Ronald Mayhew (Moena), Paul Mayhew (Angie), Jessie Wilson, Geraldine Connor and Deborah Hopper (Ronnie). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
