Samuel Sherrill Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Sherrill of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Sherrill and Lillie Augusta Sherrill; his wife Hazel Kirksey Sherrill; his daughter Brenda Wise; and his siblings, Lucy Sigmon, Verona Edwards and Fred N. Sherrill.

He is survived by: his children, Samuel Sherrill (Elizabeth) and Donna Thompson (Larry); and his grandchildren, Jason Sherrill, Samantha Sherrill Keller (Matt), Christy Thompson Sharpe (David), Brandi Wise Houston (Jeremy) and Heather Thompson. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
