It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Edwards of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, who passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Kevin Neal Edwards and Brian Scott Edwards; and her siblings, Richard "Dick" Hal Cooksey and Phyllis Ann Stillie. She is survived by: her husband Melvin "Tommy" Thomas Edwards; her daughters, Stacie Edwards Mitchell (David) and Laura Edwards Jones; her grandchildren, Evan of Fort Mill, SC, Cooper of Fort Mill, SC, Jackson of Fort Mill, SC, Luke Mitchell of Fort Mill, SC, Abigail "Abby" of Fort Mill, SC, Kaitlin of Fort Mill, SC and Alexander "Xander" Jones of Fort Mill, SC; and her brother Terry Cooksey of Pfafftown, NC..
