He is survived by: his siblings, William Lee "Red" Canipe, Billy Joe Canipe, Nancy Smart Eaker, Doris Santora and Jerry Daniel Canipe; his sons, Jeremy Todd Canipe (Nicole Byers Canipe) of Charlotte and Brett Daniel Canipe (Terra Severt Canipe) of Sherrills Ford; his grandchildren, Wilson Andrew Canipe (Wil), Madilyn Canipe (Madi), Connor Hampton Canipe and Noah Andrew Canipe; and his sisters, Patsy Berry and Ernestine Keziah.
