He was predeceased by: his father Walter Beebe; and his brother Robert Beebe. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Cole Beebe; his wife Julie Neff Beebe; his children, Matthew Beebe (Kara) and Rachel Beebe (Stephen Taperek); his sister Diana Moore (Dan); his grandson Harrison Childress; and his parents-in-law, Mary Ann Meldrum and Arthur Neff (Linda). He is also survived by brother/sister-in-laws, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may also be made to Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte.
