With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Idell Reid White of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Reid, Sr. and Annie Mae Roseboro Reid; her husband John Lindsey White; her daughters, Teresa Griffin and Sheran Lyerly; and her siblings, Dorothy Gibson, Margret Taylor, Jim Dunlap, James Reid, Sam Reid, Curt Reid, Tommy Lee Reid, Will Reid Jr. and JD Reid.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Reid of Claremont, Ricky Reid of Sherrills Ford, James Lyerly (Brandy) of Conover, Wilbert Reid of Sherrills Ford, Gerald Lyerly (Regina) of Hickory, Diana Reid Moss (Stanton) of Hickory and Rosalyn Gibson of Hickory; her sister Annie Mae Daniels (Alma Coulter) of Landover Maryland; and her grandchildren, Tonya Reid, Darry Reid, Stanta Marbuary, Rhonda Lyerly Bunt and Tonette Rinehardt.
