He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O. Dwyer, Sr. and Annie Stinson Dwyer; and his brothers, Charles Dwyer, Jr., Paul Dwyer, Ray Dwyer and Earl Dwyer.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Dwyer Jr. (Leslie) and Marie Dwyer Dunham (Gene); his stepdaughters, Dodie George (John) and Lori West (Lane); his sisters, Mary Nantz and Kay Cooke; his nieces and nephews, Renee (Paul), Debbie, Pam, Johnny, Randy, Joe and Chris; his grandchildren, Jon, James, April and Sarah; and his pet Charlie Brown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
