She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Gabriel and Frances Sigmon Gabriel; and her sister Cheryl Wesson. She is survived by: her husband Larry Winifred Carpenter; her children, Cray Carpenter (Raven) of Sherrills Ford and Amy Womack (Chuck) of Sherrills Ford; her siblings, Billy Gabriel (Barbara) and Kathie Abernathy (Neal); her grandchildren, Trent Carpenter, Jordan Dixson (Patrick), Dustin Burke and Alyssa Burke; and her great grandchild Carter Carpenter.
