He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Mitchell Sigmon and Leota Ratchford Sigmon Prestwood. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Lineberger Sigmon; his sons, Brad Sigmon (Sherry) of Sherrills Ford, Chad Sigmon (Leah) of Sherrills Ford and Brent Sigmon (Susan) of Apex; his siblings, Floyd Sigmon (Carolyn) of Sherrills Ford, David Sigmon (Joanne) of Sherrills Ford, Elaine Sigmon Cansler (Dennis) of Sherrills Ford and Janet Prestwood of Maiden; and his grandchildren, Jerni Sigmon, John Bradley Sigmon, Chloe Sigmon, Gabe Sigmon, Evan Sigmon, Bryce Sigmon, Owen Sigmon and Sophie Sigmon.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rehobeth United Methodist Church (9297 Sherrills Ford Rd, Terrell, NC 28682).
