He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debra Edwards Jones; his daughters, Christina Hamrick (Chad) of Shelby, NC and Stephanie Bristol (Sonny II) of Shelby, NC; his grandchildren, Noah Cline, Sophie Bristol, Styler Bristol and Sonny Bristol III; his brother Lanny Jones (Sylvia) of Richmond, VA; his sister-in-law Donna Pendleton of Lawndale, NC; his aunts, Carolyn Greene of Mooresboro, NC and Dorothy Helton of Ellenboro, NC; his nieces and nephews, Hollie Rockefeller (Chris), Jayme Spears, Michael Pendleton (Beth) of Fallston, NC and Jason Pendleton (Lisa) of Shelby, NC; and his parents, Sally Dixon Jones and Charles William Jones. He was also cherished by numerous great nieces and a nephew.
