He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Greene Blanton and Kathryn Leigh Blanton; and his wife Dianne Ledford Blanton. He is survived by: his son Dwayne Thomas Blanton (Julie) of Waxhaw, NC; his grandchildren, Zachary, Caroline and Graham Blanton; his brother Robert Blanton (Debbie); and his nephew Seann Blanton.
