It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Richard Pruett Sr. of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Tommy Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Tommy Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Pruett and Ovie Pruett; and his siblings, John, Vick Pruett and Elizabeth Owens. He is also survived by his family and friends.
