He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Jenkins and Ennis Jenkins; his wife Brenda Mae Wood Jenkins; his children, Thomas Randall Jenkins and Cheryl Jenkins; and his siblings, Gary Jenkins and Lois Martin.
He is survived by: his grandson Steven Smith; and his daughters, Jeanette Smith (Mitchell) of Galax, VA and Maranda Niemiec (John) of State Road. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
