He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Abbott and Wilhelmina Abbott; and his siblings, Eugene Abbott and Diane Caraway. He is survived by: his sisters, Irene Brant of Georgia, Louise Tillman (Edward) of Georgia and Wilma Akana (Larry) of Hawaii; his children, Rhonda Wease (Geoff) and Joey Abbott of Shelby; his grandchildren, Wade Waddell, Mattie Abbott and Tilley Abbott; and his great grandchildren, Maliyah and Isaiah Waddell. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
