She was predeceased by : her parents, James Miller McSwain and Velma McSwain, her husband Jack Stanley Simpson; her children, Jack S. Simpson, Jr.,
She is survived by : her daughter Ollie Horton Fuller (Chester) of Roper; Dollie Parker (Willie) of Roper, Darien Simpson (Shanice) of Raleigh, Kathy Simpson of Brooklyn NY. Her grandchildren, Sonja Horton Blount , Caitlyn Horton both of Plymouth NC. Joe Parker, April Parker and Ashley Simpson of Brooklyn NY; and her great grandchildren, Jaden Blount, Jerimiah Mann, Lala Horton of Plymouth NC, Tiffany Simpson, Austin Simpson, Jackson Simpson, James Simpson, Deandrea Simpson and Brittany Simpson of Raleigh NC.
