She was predeceased by: her parents, George Artrip and Rhoda Ferguson Artrip; her husband Richard Burns; her sons, Richard Allen Hopkins, Donald Ray Hopkins and William Douglas Hopkins; her brothers, Charles Atrip and George Atrip, Jr.; and her grandsons, William Joseph Hopkins and Bobby Douglas Hopkins.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Lamb (Bobby) and Kenneth Hopkins (Denise) of Mooresboro, NC; her sister Elizabeth Fields of Mansfield, Ohio; and her niece Lorreta Whiting of Lexington, Ohio. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
