She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hamrick Potts and Lois Frances Barrow Potts; her husband Perrin "Ward" Berry; her brother Joe Turner Potts; and her son Lawrence Berry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene M. Berry of Asheville and Mary Susan Berry of Shelby; her nephews, Gregory Potts and Jeffrey Potts; and her niece Carol Jo Widner.
