Shirley Clary Pruett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Clary Pruett of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Blando Clary and Myrtle Anthony Clary; her son Mark Pruett; and her brothers, Alvin Clary, Ben Clary, Henry Clary, Bill Clary and Blando David Clary.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Roy Pruett; her daughters, Myra Wright (Alan) of Shelby, NC and Lisa Brummett of Shelby, NC; her grandchildren, Mark Flores (Katie) of Shelby, NC, Kristin Malone (Brantley) of Trinity, NC, Kayla Steadham (Chris) of Shelby, NC and Tycen Ward of Shelby, NC; and her great grandchildren, Audrey Malone, Ben Malone and James Steadham. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Flint Hill Baptist Church (2207 Flint Hill Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Cleveland Memorial Park (1225 College Ave, Shelby, NC 28152).
