She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Winkler and Barbara Willis Winkler. She is survived by: her husband Mick Rhea; her son Gregg Edwards (Nikki Graham) of Shelby; her siblings, Donna Peterson (Ralph) of Raleigh, Kathy Cartee (Steve) of Southport and Joe Winkler (Laura) of Charlotte; and her grandson Tommy Edwards of Kings Mountain.
