She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walker and Dora Earley Walker; her husband Thomas G. Brooks; and her brothers, Robert Walker, Harold Gene Walker and Joseph Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Brooks (Diane) of Shelby, NC, Susan White (Dan) of Loganville, GA and Norma Lynch (Mike) of Orange Beach, AL.; and her great grandchildren, Michael Brooks (Beth), David Brooks (Laura), Haley Harmon (David), Kevin Leonard (Sarah), Paul Hopper (Hillary) and Nicolas White. She is also survived by six loving grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Carolina Foothills, 374 Hudlow Road, Forest City, NC, 28043, in honor of Chrissy Lail, Hospice nurse and friend.
