She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Champion and Sissie B. Champion; her daughter Dana; her siblings, William Champion and Cora Anne Marsh; and her stepson Tim Cochran.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Cochran (Jessica) of Shelby; her stepchildren, Pam Watts (Ken) of Blacksburg, SC and Chip Cochran of Shelby; and her close friend Ray Mullins. She is also survived by four step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.
