It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Allen Rogers of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Woodruff, South Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Rogers and Frances Stinnett Rogers; and his sister Wanda Rogers Waddell. He is survived by: his wife Anne Taylor Rogers; his grandchildren, Sammy and Lilly; his daughter Ashley Rogers Atchley (Kevin); his grandchildren, Samuel Allen Campbell (Makayla White) and Lillian Ella-Statia Atchley; and his siblings, Nancy Rogers Solesbee (Bill), David Thomas Rogers (Elaine) and Robert Eugene Rogers (Terry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
