It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Neal (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ocie Ella Willis Elliott; her husband James I. Neal; and her siblings, Carl Warren Elliott, Kenneth Raeford Elliott and Mary Latain Pearson.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Neal (Amanda) of Shelby, Rob Neal (Susan) of Beaufort, SC, Lenora Neal Godfrey of Charlotte and Melanie Neal Morrison (Ace) of Shelby; and her grandchildren, Richie Sparrow, Kevin Neal, Katherine Neal, Casey and Jesse Neal.
